DOJ seizes SIX more classified documents from President's Delaware home
Republicans have reacted with astonishment and anger to news on Saturday that prosecutors have seized more classified materials from President Joe Biden's home in Wilmington, Delaware.
Donald Trump said the 'mess' was a result of their focus on his mishandling of classified information. Both Trump and Biden are now being investigated by special prosecutors for the material - but Biden on Thursday said there is 'no there there' when he was persistently questioned about the discovery.
Biden said he had 'no regrets' over his handling of classified material - remarks which seem to be coming back to haunt him.
'They created this Documents mess for themselves by being so totally DERANGED about me, and I did NOTHING WRONG!!!' said Trump.
Ted Cruz, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, tweeted: 'AGAIN?!? How in the HELL do they keep screwing this up??'
The Texas senator added: 'As Biden repeatedly says, “everyone knows how seriously I take classified documents.”
'Yes. Yes we do.'
The Department of Justice revealed federal investigators have found another six classified documents in what is now the fourth occasion files have been retrieved from Biden's home and private office.
The president and first lady Jill Biden were not at their home when it was searched. The couple are spending the weekend at their other home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
The Justice Department stated how it 'took possession of materials it deemed within the scope of its inquiry, including six items consisting of documents with classification markings and surrounding materials.
'Some of [the materials] were from the President's service in the Senate and some of which were from his tenure as Vice President,' Bob Bauer, the president's personal attorney explained in a detailed statement on Saturday night.
The prosecutors also 'took for further review personally handwritten notes from the vice-presidential years,' he said.

EXC: Wuhan-Lab Linked Group Gets $7 Million Government Grant For Pandemic Research.
President Joe Biden has awarded EcoHealth Alliance – a controversial non-profit that partnered with the Wuhan Institute of Virology on manipulating viruses similar to COVID-19 – with new multi-million dollar grants for pandemic-related research.
Run by notorious COVID-19 “natural origins” propagandist and Chinese Communist Party-funded researcher Peter Daszak, EcoHealth Alliance received millions of dollars from Anthony Fauci’s National Institute of Health (NIH) agency for work on “killer” viruses. Summaries of their joint research – recently wiped from the Chinese lab’s website – reveal scientists creating “chimeric” viruses that spread in humans at rates “equivalent to epidemic strains of SARS-CoV.”
War Room can now reveal that EcoHealth Alliance has received a new $3 million “Combatting Weapons of Mass Destruction” grant from the Department of Defense’s (DOD) Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) aimed at “reducing the threat of viral spillover from wildlife in the Philippines.” EcoHealth Alliance’s work in China was carried out under the same alleged objective of combatting “viral spillover.”
The grant started on December 12th, 2022 and is set to extend through December 11th, 2025.
The grant is part of a program “to support the advancement of fundamental knowledge and understanding of the sciences with an emphasis on exploring new and innovative research for combating or countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD).”
President Joe Biden’s U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) also gave EcoHealth Alliance a $4,000,000 grant on December 13th, 2022 as part of a program launched in October 2021.
The grant is part if USAID’s “foreign assistance for programs overseas” and is focused on “conserving threatened and endangered species by strengthening protected areas and helping communities be less reliant on protected resources for the livelihoods.”
Set to conclude October 2026, the grant is worth $8.7 million in total.

Ron Klain set to depart as Biden’s chief of staff
It comes as the administration enters a new phase of Biden’s presidency, pivoting from legislating to fending off investigations by the new House GOP majority and preparing for the president’s likely reelection campaign.
A prolific tweeter and emailer known for working 16-hour days, Klain largely succeeded in making the West Wing a cohesive workplace — although detractors both inside and outside the building criticized his tendency to micromanage and at times questioned his political instincts. Despite Biden’s low approval numbers and persistent inflation, Democrats did far better than expected in November’s midterm election, validating Biden’s tenure and Klain’s approach.
Biden, who relied heavily on Klain and a small group of senior aides who’ve been with him for years, had urged him to remain in the job. But many White House staffers acknowledged the physical grind of the high-pressure position and wondered how long he could keep up his pace.
Some of those senior aides, including presidential counselor Steve Ricchetti and senior adviser Anita Dunn, are among the most discussed names of Klain’s potential successor. Jeff Zients, who served as Biden’s first coronavirus coordinator and who Klain tasked with managing the expected staff and Cabinet turnover following the midterms, is also mentioned frequently as a potential next chief of staff.
